Sam established Sam’s Computer Clinic in 1996. Originally from a farming background, Sam decided to radically change his career & direction in the 1990s due to his love of technology. His expertise comes from over 25years experience in the computer industry.
Sam started working in computers in 1987, and then with a business partner proceeded to take over a computer business in Christchurch 1989. In 1996, Sam started up Sam’s Computer Clinic and has been operating out of his Renwick premises since 2002. Many will know the name Sam’s Computer Clinic already, but the business has taken on a little re-work and is re-launching a new brand and focus this May.
This new phase of the business also coincides with a brand new workshop, enabling Sam to service customer’s computers with, on average a 3day turnaround service, if not faster.
Why the re-launch of Sam’s Computer Clinic? Sam had been getting great feedback from his clients who loved the fact that Sam was so easy to talk to about computers, wasn’t a twenty something computer nerd, and most importantly of all, that he didn’t talk in the usual computer jargon.
Sam wanted his branding to reflect this unique quality. It’s just as the logo states….. New technology, old school.
The fact that Sam wasn’t brought up on computers, so can still remember how daunting it can be when first starting out, is really key at putting customers at ease with either purchasing, installing or repairing their computers.
In fact, at Sam’s Computer Clinic Sam promises no jargon and keeps everything friendly, professional and hassle-free, because why make life complicated if you don’t have to?
And yes we do house calls.
